As we move towards Christmas at rapid speed, let’s pause for a moment and remember why we celebrate. Our Hope, named Jesus Christ, was born into a world of darkness so that He could restore us back to our Creator. We must expect to see God move in our lives. Since evil is always trying to drive the conversations in our heads to the negative, pause, and remember the prayers God answered. If you have not gotten an answer yet, continue to call for and look for God’s reply. Christ-follower’s hope is not based on our shortcomings but instead on the loving compassion of God that cannot deny Himself. Require God as you do air to breathe and quietly watch as He takes action in your life.
I recall this to my mind, Therefore I wait. The LORD’S acts of mercy indeed do not end,
For His compassions do not fail.
They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I wait for Him.”
The LORD is good to those who await Him, To the person who seeks Him.
It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3: 21-26
