Visual aids are used to set a mood mentally. You know this for yourself when you read a headline that makes your heart sink. When used positively, photos, Bible verses, or trinkets can remind us to stay on a godly track. At this time, evil is trash-talking to instill fear or hopelessness. For many of the ladies I teach, discouragement attempts to proclaim, “your life will never get any better.” I am here to remind us all that evil is a liar. The story in the book of Luke 18:1-8 encourages us to wear God out with conversations concerning our lives. Personally, I have stood on this parable in prayer to God in respect to my failing legs. God answered me quickly! Do not lose heart! God is a God of justice, and He will bring about justice for this nation. What if God blessed us with more than we ever thought to ask? “Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?” Have faith that God is moving on behalf of His children. Stop allowing the planted, demoralizing optics to influence your mood. God is in control so show it through praises in your sunny disposition. Our God reigns!
“Now Jesus was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not become discouraged, saying, “In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect any person. Now there was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying, ‘Give me justice against my opponent.’ For a while he was unwilling; but later he said to himself, ‘Even though I do not fear God nor respect any person, yet because this widow is bothering me, I will give her justice; otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’” And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge said; now, will God not bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long for them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:1-8Photo by Ben White on Unsplash
